Description of catalogues

This is a short description of on-line catalogues of our library collections. Links to these are on the left.

Note. The catalogues are in Polish now, but the English version is going to be prepared.
Old prints
Full catalogue of old prints including incunabulums and rare books (especially 16th century Polish).
One may choose using a phrase searching ("Wyszukiwanie tekstowe") or browsing by prepared indexes ("Indeksy").
New prints
Catalogue of prints published after 1800 (only those fully described since 1998).
Periodicals untill 1800
Full catalogue of periodicals and newspapers (mostly Polish) edited up to the year of 1800. Additionally old calendars are included.
Periodical since 1800
Full catalogue of periodicals and newspapers (mostly Polish, but also German, French and English), additionally calendars and book catalogues.
Handwritten periodicals
A catalogue consists of descriptions and summaries of 17th and 18th century handwritten periodicals and newspapers. Prepared by Zofia Skorupska.

Chess Library
Contains library collection of Tassilo von Heydebrand und der Lasa (1818-1899), a famous chess historian and player. The collection contains manuscripts, prints and periodicals about history of chess.

Full catalogue of microfilms representing our rare books and manuscripts.
