Description of catalogues
This is a short description of on-line catalogues of our library collections.

- Note. The catalogues are in Polish now,
but the English version is going to be prepared.
- Old prints
- Full catalogue of old prints including incunabulums and rare books
(especially 16th century Polish).
One may choose using a phrase searching ("Wyszukiwanie tekstowe")
or browsing by prepared indexes ("Indeksy").
- New prints
- Catalogue of prints published after 1800 (only those fully described since 1998).
- Periodicals untill 1800
- Full catalogue of periodicals and newspapers (mostly Polish) edited up to the year
of 1800. Additionally old calendars are included.
- Periodical since 1800
- Full catalogue of periodicals and newspapers (mostly Polish, but also German,
French and English), additionally calendars and book catalogues.
- Handwritten periodicals
- A catalogue consists of descriptions and summaries of 17th and 18th century
handwritten periodicals and newspapers. Prepared by Zofia Skorupska.
- Manuscripts 1
- Volume 1 of inventory of manuscripts catalogue numbers from BK 1 to BK 1612.
- Manuscripts
- Inventory of manuscripts catalogue numbers from BK 1613 do BK 13500.
- Diplomas
- Full inventory of parchment documents form 13th to 19th century.
- Maps
- Full inventory of maps and cartography atlas’ from 16th to 20th century.
- Chess Library
- Contains library collection of Tassilo von Heydebrand und der Lasa (1818-1899),
a famous chess historian and player. The collection contains manuscripts,
prints and periodicals about history of chess.
- Microfilms
- Full catalogue of microfilms representing our rare books and manuscripts.
